Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received a phone call from Wing Commander Shane Smith, Senior Australian Defence Officer, RAAF Base Tindal.

Later, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the Costa Rica Bicentennial Celebrations.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received a phone call from Ms Deb Alosi, Chief Executive Officer, Binjari Aboriginal Corporation.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor Lis Clark, Mayor, Katherine Town Council.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from the Honourable Gladys Berejiklian, Premier, New South Wales.
