On Wednesday 15 September 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Year 6 students from Orange Christian School, New South Wales, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Lynne Anderson, Chief Executive Officer, and support staff of Paralympics Australia, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Veronica Abbott, Coordinator, Quaama Renewal Projects, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General was interviewed by Ms Sonya Feldhoff, Presenter, ABC Adelaide Afternoons.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Danielle Murphy and Ms Chris Waters, Coordinators, Cobargo Bushfire Relief Centre, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Alex Smith, Head of Campus, and students of Kangaroo Island Community Education (Parndana Campus), South Australia, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Paul Preston, President, and committee members of the Mallacoota and District Recovery Association, via video conference.
