On Tuesday 19 October 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Ms Carman Lazar OAM and Dr Mariam Joseph, Assyrian Australian Association, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with representatives from CORE Pacific Collective, including Ms Malaemie Fruean OAM, Mr Seini Afeaki, Professor Jioji Ravulo and Ms Domina Va’a, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received a phone call from Mr Bert Le-Merton, Patron, March On with Soldier On.
