Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Moruya, Mogo, Broulee, New South Wales
On Friday 29 October 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Government House, Australian Capital Territory, to Moruya, New South Wales.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Chad Staples, Owner, Mogo Zoo, met with local business owners and community representatives at the Mogo Zoo.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Michael Anlezark, Gardens Manager, opened the Naturescape Garden and met with Friends of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Councillor Rob Pollack OAM, Deputy Mayor, Eurobodalla Shire Council, attended a community lunch at the Moruya Showgrounds.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a National Emergency Medal Presentation at Broulee Rural Fire Station.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from the Moruya, New South Wales, to Government House, Australian Capital Territory.
