On Monday 8 November 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Government House, Australian Capital Territory, to Wollongong, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Kylie Flament, General Manager, visited the Green Connect Farm.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Dean Dalla Valle, Chair, Wollongong 2022, met with the organising committee of the UCI 2022 Road World Championships.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Associate Professor Dr Mitra Safavi-Naeini, Principal Physicist, met with staff of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANTSO).
