On Thursday 11 November 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Kerry Stokes AC, Chairman, Council of the Australian War Memorial, attended the Remembrance Day National Ceremony.

Later, Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as Patron, hosted an afternoon tea to launch the ‘Lady of Australia’ rose.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, attended a Last Post Ceremony.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Professor Hilary Penfold, Chair, Rhodes Australia-at-Large Selection Committee, attended the Rhodes Australia-at-Large virtual event.
