Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Wagga Wagga, New South Wales

On Friday 12 November 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Reviewing Officer, and Mrs Hurley attended the March-Out Parade for the 70th Anniversary of the Army Recruit Training Centre.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Colonel James Hammett DSM, attended a morning tea with the staff and partners of the Army Recruit Training Centre.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Colonel James Hammett DSM, attended a March Out Function at the Bolton Centre and met with Trainees.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for the APS Secretaries Retreat.
