On Wednesday 17 November 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a special meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
In the morning, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a Clean Slate Without Prejudice session and breakfast for Tribal Warrior.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Admiralty House, Sydney, to Dubbo, New South Wales.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Ms Joh Leader, Chief Executive Officer, met with representatives of LeaderLife at Apollo House.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Mr Alastair Kelly, Co-Owner, visited Hillview Farm.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended a lunch with Mr Brendon Cutmore, Executive Director of Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, and Mr Mark Spittal, Acting Chief Executive, Western NSW Local Health District.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Commissioner Rob Rogers, hosted a National Emergency Medal presentation, and met with staff and volunteers at the NSW Rural Fire Services Training Academy.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Dubbo, New South Wales, to Government House, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
