On Friday 19 November 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Melbourne, Victoria, to Bendigo, Victoria.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Dr Kirby White, Founder, visited Gowns for Doctors.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Ms Bridget Bentley, Manager, met with staff and volunteers of Bendigo Foodshare.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Hugo Leschen, Chief Executive Officer, met with staff and volunteers of the Golden Dragon Museum.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Peter Guy, met with members of the Guy Family at the Sandhurst Club.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Ms Jessica Bridgfoot, Director, attended the 2021 Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Bendigo, Victoria, to Government House, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
