On Tuesday 23 November 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received the Honourable Tony Smith MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted two Investiture Ceremonies for Order of Australia Honours and Bravery decorations at Government House, Canberra.
