On Friday 26 November 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours recipients, at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received The Honourable Andrew Wallace MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Ms Claressa Surtees, Clerk of the House of Representatives.

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Mrs Kerry Allen OAM at Clare Holland House.

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mrs Hurley, hosted an Investiture Dinner to recognise Order of Australia Honours and Bravery recipients
