On Monday 29 November 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Commodore Richard Boulton AM RAN, Commandant, Australian War College, attended the Defence and Strategic Studies Course Graduation at the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for Heads of Mission.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Kathryn Campbell, Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), attended the New Colombo Plan 2022 Scholarships Award presentation ceremony at the DFAT Diplomatic Academy.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of His Excellency Mr Miguel Julian Palomino de la Gala, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, and Mrs Teresita Daroca Capell, attended a Diplomatic Corps dinner at the Hyatt Hotel.
