On Wednesday 1 December 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) participated in a telephone interview with Mr Dean Ritchie, Reporter, the Daily Telegraph.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as Patron, hosted a morning tea to launch the Invasive Species Solutions Trust.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Adrian Edwards, Representative to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Then, the Governor-General participated in the Enterprise for Veterans’ Advisory Council meeting for The Prince's Trust Australia, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for Soldier On.
