On Monday 6 December 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning tea for staff of ACT Health involved in COVID-19 response efforts.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr David Yardley, High Commissioner to Kiribati.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for staff of Calvary and Canberra Health Services involved COVID-19 response efforts.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as Joint Patrons, hosted a reception for Rowing ACT.

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley attended a Solid Rock Thanksgiving and Reflection evening at the Holy Covenant Anglican Church.
