On Tuesday 7 December 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as Reviewing Officer, and Mrs Linda Hurley, attended the Royal Military College End-of-Year Graduation Parade.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Graham Fletcher, Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from The Honourable Councillor Lawrence Springborg AM, Mayor of Goondiwindi.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Jean Giese, Chief Executive Officer, VolunteeringACT, attended the 2021 Canberra Region Volunteering Awards.
