On Thursday 9 December 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from Ms Cathy Raper, Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr James Herron, Landscape Architect; and Mr Matthew Taylor, Landscape Architect, Taylor Bremmer Landscape Architects.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a presentation ceremony for the Boys’ Brigade Australia (Canberra) Queen’s Award Badge.
