On Sunday 12 December 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Karen Tatz, President, ACT Jewish Community, attended the Official Opening of a new wing at the National Jewish Memorial Centre.

In the evening, the Governor-General was represented by Mr Paul Singer MVO for the arrival in Australia of His Excellency Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, and Mrs Kim Jung-sook, at RAAF Base Fairbairn.
