On Monday 13 December 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) met with The Honourable Scott Ryan, Head of Mission-Designate to Canada, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a Ceremonial Welcome in honour of His Excellency Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, and Mrs Kim Jung-sook, First Lady of the Republic of Korea.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a State Lunch in honour of His Excellency Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, and Mrs Kim Jung-sook, First Lady of the Republic of Korea.

Then, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Francis Frank Bwalya, High Commissioner for Zambia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from Ms Heather Ridout AO, President, Order of Australia Association.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted the 2020 and 2021 Queen’s Scout and Baden-Powell Scout Awards.
