On Tuesday 25 January 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a Australia Day Achievement Medallions presentation ceremony for staff at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Tom Rogers, Commissioner, Australian Electoral Commission.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Danielle Roche OAM, Chair, National Australia Day Council, attended the 2022 Australian of the Year Awards.
