On Thursday 7 April 2022, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) hosted the Prince’s Trust Australia’s Enterprise for Veterans’ Advisory Council.

Afterwards, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as Patron and guest of Ms Yaso Arumugam, Acting Director-General, Archives of Australia, attended the National Archives of Australia Members Event.

Later, the Governor-General received Ms Claire Scott, Consul-General in Papeete, French Polynesia.

Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the CREATE Foundation’s National Conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley recorded a video message for St John Ambulance ACT NightCrew.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Peter Joseph AM, Chair, Black Dog Institute, attended the 20th Anniversary Dinner and Celebration of Scientia Professor Helen Christensen AO.
