On Friday 10 June 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with His Royal Highness Tupouto’a Ulukalala, Crown Prince of Tonga, and Her Royal Highness Sinaitakala Tuku.aho, Crown Princess of Tonga.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea for His Royal Highness Tupouto’a Ulukalala and Her Royal Highness Sinaitakala Tuku.aho.

Later, Mrs Hurley received Musician Anthony Tenikoff, RMC Pianist, for a song rehearsal ahead of the Government House Platinum Jubilee Ball.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for the Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO, former Governor-General, and Mrs Marlena Jeffery, wife of the late Major General the Honourable Michael Jeffery AC AO (Mil) CVO MC (Retd), in celebration of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
