On Tuesday 12 July 2022, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) participated in an interview for the 75th Anniversary of National Peacekeeping Day.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley received Ms Heidi Venamore, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr Gary Creighton, Miss Beatrix Creighton, and Miss Harriet Creighton.
Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from Mr Andrew Penfold AM, Executive Director, Australian Indigenous Education Foundation.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of His Excellency Mr Shingo Yamagami, Ambassador of Japan, signed the Condolence Book for the late Mr Shinzo Abe, at the Embassy of Japan.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence from Mr Daniel António Rosa, non-resident Ambassador designate of Angola, based in Singapore, via video conference.
Later, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Henrik Cederin, Ambassador of Sweden.
