On Monday 20 February 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) as a guest of Mr Shane Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, attended a Tribal Warrior boxing session at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as joint patrons, hosted an afternoon tea in recognition of the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum’s Persona.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Chris Raine, Chief Executive Officer, Australians for Mental Health.

Later, the Governor-General as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a dinner for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation.
