On Tuesday 21 March 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Heads of Mission.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students from Bayswater South Primary School, Bayswater South, Victoria.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Luke Arnold, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

Then, the Governor-General as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for Down Syndrome Australia.
