On Thursday 30 March 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from Tara Anglican School, North Parramatta, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded his 2023 Anzac Day Address.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Ms Robyn Mudie, First Assistant Secretary, and Ms Ruth Stone, Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, received the Head of Mission-designate for Kiribati.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Dr Matthew Trinca AM FAHA, Director, attended the launch of the sound installation ‘Breathing Space’ and the Chairman’s Dinner.
