On Monday 19 June 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, met with Mr Luke Arnold, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a Ceremonial Welcome in honour of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a State Lunch in honour of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei. In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for members of the Australian Multicultural Council.
