On Thursday 22 June 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Her Excellency Ms Emily Luck, Australian High Commissioner to Samoa.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Mefiposeta, Principal, A'ana College, visited and met with students and staff of the Building Relationships Through Intercultural Dialogue and Growing Engagement (BRIDGE) Partnership Program.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Ladesha Papalii, Chairperson, met with hearing impaired students, families and learning support staff at the Senese Inclusive Education Facility.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Her Excellency Ms Emily Luck, met with staff at the Australian High Commission, Samoa.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of the Honourable Ms Fiamē Naomi Mata’afa, Prime Minister of Samoa, and the Honourable Tuala Tevaga Ponifasio, Deputy Prime Minister, attended a lunch.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Lealaiauloto Siitia, Executive Director, visited and met with staff and youth champions at the Samoa Family Health Association.
