On Tuesday 19 September 2023, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.

At Government House Canberra, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) met with students from St Mary's Anglican School, Karrinyup, Western Australia.

 Later, the Governor-General received Ms Erika Tolano, President; and Ms Stephanie McAlister, General Manager, National Opera.

 Then in Sydney, Mrs Hurley, as Patron of the Sydney Opera House Ladies Committee, attended the Sydney Opera House 50th Anniversary Luncheon.

 In the afternoon, Mrs Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
