Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Sydney, New South Wales

On Tuesday 5 December 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.   

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley, as Patron of Paint the Town REaD, and the Governor-General hosted a morning tea for friends and supporters of Paint the Town REaD and Gowrie NSW.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron of the Australian Ballet, and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Kenneth Watkins AM, Director of Philanthropy, attended a performance of Swan Lake.
