On Wednesday 14 February 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley attended a welcome ceremony in honour of their Official Visit to Thailand, at Government House Thailand.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were introduced to members of the Cabinet of Thailand.

Later, the Governor-General met with His Excellency Mr Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Thailand.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of the Prime Minister, attended lunch at Government House Thailand.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalakshana of Thailand, attended a Royal Banquet at the Chakri Throne Hall.
