On Monday 26 February 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, received Mr Peter Scott, Acting Assistant Secretary, Western Europe Branch; and Ms Anna Karstensen-Krstich, Senior Policy Officer, Northern and Central Europe Section, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Jan Lipavský, Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for the 10th anniversary of the Tuckwell Scholarship.
