On Monday 15 April 2024, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley laid a floral tribute in honour of the victims of the Bondi Junction attack.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Afterwards, the Governor General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Wayne McNee, Chairman, and Mr Graham Boyd, Chief Executive Officer, Legacy Australia.

In the evening, Mrs Hurley attended a sing-along with Scouts Australia as part of the 2024 National Scouts Australia Camp.
