Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Kangaroo Island, South Australia

On Sunday 28 April 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Stephanie Wurst, Chair, met with staff at the Parndana Community Childrens Centre. 

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Tracey Heinrich and Mr Andrew Heinrich, attended a lunch with community members and representatives of Stokes Bay.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Michael Pengilly, Mayor, Kangaroo Island Council, attended an afternoon tea with community representatives.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, travelled from Kangaroo Island, to Adelaide, South Australia.
