On Monday 29 April 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as Joint Patrons and guests of Ms Sharyn Broer, Chief Executive Officer, visited Meals on Wheels, Edwardstown Branch, South Australia.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and Mr Rod Bunten, attended a lunch at Government House South Australia. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Carmen Garcia AM, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Community Corporate, attended a reception and met with community representatives and multicultural leaders.
