Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Penrose, New South Wales; Sydney, New South Wales

On Friday 3 May 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Penrose, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mrs Alison Duthie, President, Penrose Community Association, attended the dedication of the Penrose Village Hall. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Penrose, New South Wales, to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for the Youth Insearch Foundation. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Honorary Colonel, and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for the Sydney University Regiment.
