Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Kandos, New South Wales; Bathurst, New South Wales

On Tuesday 18 June 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC CVO DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Kandos, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Buzz Sanderson, President, attended the launch of the Kandos Museum Masterplan. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Sanderson, attended a lunch with members of the Kandos Masterplan Committee and community representatives. 

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Kandos, New South Wales to Bathurst, New South Wales.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Kelly Quandt AFSM, Assistant Commissioner, visited and met with NSW Rural Fire Service staff and volunteers. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Bathurst, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
