On Tuesday 25 June 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC CVO DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as Joint Patrons and guests of Brigadier Mark Holmes (Retd), Chair, met with board members, staff and handlers at Integra Service Dogs. 

Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the Sydney University Regiment.  

Later, the Governor-General participated in an interview regarding the unveiling of his recent official portrait.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received representatives of Rowing Australia, including Mr Kent Peters, President; Ms Catherine Carrington, Board Member; Rowing Australia; Ms Alison Creagh AM CSC, Board Member; and Ms Sarah Davoren, Executive Officer, Rowing ACT.   

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley, as Patron, hosted a reception for Moorambilla Voices.
