Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Sydney, New South Wales

On Friday 12 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Aunty Norma Ingram, Chair, met with staff of Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron-in-Chief, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC hosted an afternoon tea for Paralympics Australia. 

Later, the Governor-General received Uncle Brendan Kerin, Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council. 

In the morning, the Governor-General was represented at the State Funeral of Mr Stefan Romaniw OAM, by Colonel Mark Richards, Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General.
