On Monday 22 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Commander Susanna Hung RAN, Commanding Officer, and Warrant Officer Class One Damien Woolfe CSM, Warrant Officer – Ceremonial, Australia’s Federation Guard.  

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Vice Admiral Justin Jones AO CSC RAN, Chief of Joint Operations, visited Headquarters Joint Operations Command as part of Exercise Austral Shield 2024. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Annelise Young, Consul-General, Noumea.
