On Tuesday 23 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Ms Jo White, Director, Questacon.  

Then, the Governor-General received Assistant Commissioner Alison Wegg, Specialist Protective Command, Commander Mark McIntyre, Protection Operations and Acting Superintendent Emma Keogh, Australian Federal Police. 

Later, the Governor-General received a video call from His Excellency the Right Reverend David Tiva Kapu, Governor-General of Solomon Islands. 

 
Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from Women’s Weekly Australia.  

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Living in Faith Lutheran Primary School from Murrumba Downs, Queensland, as they undertook a school tour of Government House.  

Later, the Governor-General received Doctor Doug Hilton, Chief Execuive Officer and Ms Beth Cribb, Chief of Staff, CSIRO.  

In the evening, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, hosted a reception for members and representatives of the Diplomatic Corps.
