On Friday 30 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron-in-Chief, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Ms Alison Creagh AM CSC, Honorary President, attended the Para Rowing at the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Ms Creagh, attended the Table Tennis.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Mr Cameron Murray, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Dr Bridie Kean, Deputy Chef de Mission, attended the Boccia.

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Ms Kate Jones, Board Member, Paralympics Australia and Ms Kate Jenkins AO, Chair of the Australian Sports Commission, attended the Para Track Cycling.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Mr Mike Bushell AM, Board Member, Paralympics Australia and Mrs Jenny Bushell, attended the Para Swimming.
