On Friday 11 October 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, hosted the organisers and supporters of the Bravery Trust’s 2024 Bravery trek. 

Then, the Governor-General hosted a morning tea for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Head of the Eastern Orthodox Church.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Mr Crispin Conroy AM, NSW State Director, and Ms Alexandra Goddard, External Relations, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 

Then, the Governor-General received His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received General Sir Peter Cosgrove AK CVO MC and Lady Lynne Cosgrove.
