On Friday 25 October 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Ms Sally Campbell, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Churchill Trust, attended the Churchill Fellowship Onboarding.

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Nishi Puri OAM, Founder and President of the Multicultural Association of Canberra; Mr Ashok Jain, Treasurer; Dr Krishna Hamal, Chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Community Associations; Mr Deepak Raj Gupta OAM; and Dr Kranti Amar.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Professor Rod Glover, attended the Advanced Political Leadership Program.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Lieutenant Colonel Brian Hickey, Commanding Officer, Royal Military College - Duntroon, delivered the Hulme-Moir Lecture. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Vice Admiral Justin Jones AO CSC RAN, Chief of Joint Operations.

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a welcome reception for National Gallery’s Gala weekend.
