Woodburn, Ballina, Sydney, New South Wales

On Friday 1 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Ms Jeanette Wilkins, Principal, attended the Official Reopening of St Joseph’s Primary School, Woodburn. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Sharon Cadwallader, Mayor, visited SES Ballina. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Sharon Cadwallader, Mayor, visited Ballina Shire Council Chambers for lunch and discussions with local councillors and leaders. 

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Ballina to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a reception for the 40th Anniversary of the Australian Girls Choir, Girls from Oz.
