Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Major Terresa Lynes, Mayor, City of Gosnells, attended a morning tea with community members.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Morgan Marsh, Executive Director, Botanical Gardens and Parks Authority, visited Kings Park.

Then, the Governor-General received Professor Fiona Stanley AC.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia, and Mrs Darrilyn Dawson, attended a dinner at Government House Western Australia.
