On Wednesday 6 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, hosted a breakfast for teachers and students of St. Jospeh's Primary School, Woodburn, NSW.
Then, the Governor-General received Mr Cam Oxley, Chancellor and Mr Brendan Maher, Chief Executive Officer, Order of St John Australia.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Ridwaan Jadwat, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Mr Stephen Di Lorenzo, Assistant Director, Gulf States Section, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
Later, the Governor-General received Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister for the United Arab Emirates.
Then, the Governor-General as guest of Ms Jo White, Director, attended the recording of the Governor-General's Design Challenge and meets with staff of Questacon.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Fra' John Dunlap, Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, His Excellency Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, Grand Chancellor and Minister of Internal Affairs, The Honourable James Douglas, President of the Australian Association of the Order of Malta, Mr Michael Mann AO, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Ms Fabiana Giovannoni, Chief of Cabinet to the Grand Master.
Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for Marie Claire Woman of the Year Awards.
Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for the National Apprentice Employment Network’s 'Today's Skills, Tomorrow's Leaders' program.
Later, the Governor-General received Ms Petria Thomas OAM, 2026 Chef de Mission – Australian Commonwealth Games Team, Mr Ben Houston, President, Commonwealth Games Australia, and Mr Craig Phillips AM, Chief Executive Officer, Commonwealth Games Australia.
