On Friday 29 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received a phone call from Mrs Robyn Freeman. 

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Valentine Public School, Valentine, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General gave Royal Assent to Legislation. 

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Sonya Koppe, Australian High Commissioner to Port of Spain. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Miss Summer Curle, Miss Eva Glowacki and Miss Eliza Nelson, Students, and Ms Jayde Condon, Teacher, North Ainslie Primary School. 

In the evening, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Mr Greg McIntyre SC, President, attended the Law Council of Australia Gala Dinner.
