On Friday 6 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Air Commodore Ruth Elsley CSC, Commandant, attended the Australian War College Joint Defence and Strategic Studies Course, and the Australian Command and Staff Course Graduations. 

Then, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Mrs Marie Claire Jeanna Monty, High Commissioner for the Republic of Mauritius. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted the presentation of the Girl Guides Youth Awards
