On Wednesday 25 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC as guest of Mr Richard Creswick, Chair of Remembering Cyclone Tracy, attended the 50^th Anniversary of Cyclone Tracy Memorial and Sculpture Unveiling.  

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Darwin, Northern Territory, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
