On Tuesday 24 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Darwin, Northern Territory.  

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Louise Partos, Deputy-Director, and Mr Jared Archibald OAM, curator, attended the Cyclone Tracy Exhibition and the 2024 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards collection, at the Museum and Gallery of the Northern Territory.
